Heriberto Perez (Eddie) is a principal instructor and Co-Owner of Viva Dance Studio. He specializes in both competitive and social dancing, with a teaching focus on lead, follow, and technique. His repertoire includes Argentine Tango, Salsa, Mambo On2, Cha-Cha Boogaloo, Latin Body Movement, Blues, and more.

Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Heriberto moved to Philadelphia where his dance journey began. He started working at Viva! Dance Studio in 2004, and in 2011, he opened his own studio, Latin Soul Ballroom. In 2014, he joined forces with Rebecca Sweet and Parker Amsel to establish the new Viva Dance Studio.

Heriberto has been a full-time dance professional since 2001, performing and teaching throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Known for his distinctive style, he is a sought-after lead and guest instructor wherever he travels.

He also values continuous learning, regularly refining his technique and exploring innovative ways to support his students’ development.
